Where does fundraising money go?
HYAA appreciates the community support when purchasing deal-cal cards, candy bars, or frozen items from our players. Some money collected from these fundraisers is spent on field improvements, education for our players and coaches, and equipment storage. Some money has been saved in order to help pay for additional fields at Vets park, a project that will hopefully start soon. Since 2002...
...HYAA spent approximately $121,000. Here is a list of some of those items you helped us purchase...
- Soccer Lights at Vets Field ($25,000)
- Player and Coach Education ($16,000)
- Kennedy Field Improvements (approx $13,000)
- Portable Pitching Mounds at Wallin ($5,200)
- Two Storage Buildings
- Field Rakes
- Generators for pitching machines
- Storage Boxes
- Pitching Screens
- Soccer Goals
- Agri-Lime (infield material)
- Storage Sheds for equipment
- Batting Cages at Middle School
- Bases
- Field Marking Equipment
- Soccer Pugg Goals
- Portable Benches
- Middle School Bleachers at Schaffer Field
- Portable Outfield Fencing
- Field Tarps
We cannot thank the HYAA members and our Community enough for their support in the past, present, and future.
